Excellent food, good staff, and really nice place. I've been told for years this place is great and I regret taking so long to check it out. The menu has plenty of options and a decent selection of Pa beer. Very reasonable prices and good portions. There's a pool table and a handful of arcade games. The building is really nice too. It has a historic feel while still being clean and functional.
Went there expecting something pleasant Disappointed from the homemade wine that should not be consumed And the food prepared by teenagers The wine had a putrid smell ! Homemade wine often smells bad due to hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg odor) produced by stressed yeast, often caused by nutrient deficiencies, high fermentation temperatures (over 75-80°F), or wild yeast contamination. Other causes include poor sanitization leading to bacterial contamination (vinegar smell) or residual fermentation
Great experience will definitely go back. We got the wings they were delicious! Played some pool, had the acorn wine (was really good) The owners were very friendly. Would recommend
Amazing supper... Grab your friends and try it out. You won't be disappointed
First time and loved the steak done as ordered and very tender 1dollar drafts for happy hour highly recommend a trip to the Eureka. Plus had good company our friends the Harchacks!!!!
I attended here for a birthday party. The second floor, where we were, was dirty and in need of some updating. The tiny bathroom was just disgusting, with stains and dirt everywhere. The staff was not very helpful and the prices of everything was astronomical. I can only rate and review the upstairs portion of this place but, at least for me, it was the kind of place where you walk out of and feel the need to go home and shower. Definitely would not recommend.
We attended a wine tasting at The Eureka. The atmosphere in the Speakeasy is wonderful. The owner, Josh, loves to share the history of the place and the lengths to which he has gone to restore the place. The food was very good and the wine fantastic. Their strawberry and concord wines are the best I've had anywhere. We will definitely be back.
This review is about the upstairs children party area. Started with the owner falsely telling me the place was open on my desired date, only to find out it was NOT, AFTER the invitations were sent. The place itself wasn’t the cleanest when we got there. Had to sweep, wipe off tables and clean pee off the bathroom seat. The bathroom only had three small battery operated LED lights as the only lighting source. The sink was too hard to turn for the kids, and the facet was only an inch way from the side of the bowl making it difficult to wash you hands. The play area itself is run down with torn or missing padding. There is only one outlet in the dining area. Wasn’t impressed, but the kids did seem to have fun.
